We're in major fruit producing country here. First we meet up with friends who will be taking us around the area for the rest of the weekend. The Rabeibs are super people and seemed to have only one goal...show us as much as possible and make sure everyone has fun. Great hosts. Thank you both!
These first pics are of their gas/service station. Their customer waiting area is awesome! And the "coy" pond held a big surprise!
No vacation is complete without the scenic views!
Next stop was a strip of nurseries along the street. We were looking for any sign of pulasan. Finally found a woman who knew what it was.
Lunch time! We were taken to this big bowl noodle place. The big bowl was pretty big.
Now it's on to the farm. Ngarm Rabieb Farm. Fruit trees everywhere as far as you could see.
Here's some videos I shot. Sorry about the short length. I was taking them on my wife's phone and she yelled at me if the vids were too long taking up all her memory!
The owners took us out to a nice dinner at Chan O Cha.
On our way home - June 21
Folks wanted to hit an early morning market for breakfast. I walked around.
The Rabiebs met us outside of Chanthaburi for a seafood lunch. The restaurant was right on top of oyster and clam farms.
We said our thank yous and goodbyes and got on the road. Next stop was Nam Tok Prew waterfall park.
