2013 - Puerto Rico.  This year's crew consisted of Ethan, Harry, Gerry, Noel, Warren and Kim, Gwenn and Ray, and a couple new additions to the group Lindsay and Helmut.  Gwenn and Ray also had some friends with them and we ended up with a very nice group.

First stop, as is always the norm now, was Jardines Eneida's wonderful nursery and farm.

Day 2 morning started us off at Ian's farm for a nice, leisurely tour...if you can call trekking up and down that terrain a leisurely tour!  An excellent durian year too.

Day 2 afternoon is at Felipe's farm.  I believe this is the first visit we've had without the usual late afternoon thunderstorm.  Vicious ones too!

Day 3 starts us off at Juan's...who we never fail to visit.  Due to some unfortunate weather events that took place earlier in the year, there were no pulason to be had.  That was sad news but Juan never disappoints us because there was plenty of other fruit to be sampled.

Day 3 afternoon is at Sherry's.  Always a nice visit even when we don't get to stay long.  A massive thunderstorm blew in on us shortly after we arrived so the tour was cut short.  But always the ultimate hostess, refreshments and a huge center piece of various fruit awaited us.

Day 4 has us back to Ian's for a huge gathering.  There were USDA personnel, neighbors, folks from a mango research station in PR, Richard Campbell from Fairchild Gardens, and 'Graftin' Crafton Clift with some other Miami rare fruiters.
